太后行宫养胎，皇上亲自照料。皇后误疑皇上有外遇，趁皇上不在闯入太后房，纵容下属辱骂羞辱。太后表明身份，皇后等不信，反变本加厉折磨。皇后行为恶劣，太后受尽屈辱。皇上归来，后果未知。。Set in the summer of 1852 in the village of Kengis, Northern Sweden, the series follows the young Sami boy-Jussi and his mentor, the newly appointed revivalist Pastor, as they investigate multiple-killings of young girls。
