该剧反映了南开大学毕业生到西部支教的故事。电影以我国西部大开发10年为背景，讲述了甘肃天水籍学生秦聪聪被南开大学录取，因家庭经济困难，在乡亲们和全国支教模范白方礼的帮助下完成学业，毕业后为了感恩社会、回报家乡，放弃高薪职业回到家乡做乡村小学教师的故事。 该片制片人兼导演李佳伦说，女主人公秦聪聪是剧组采访多位南开学生后创作出的人物。片中男一号的身份也被设定为南开大学学生。该片由影视明星李琦、胡静怡、向日葵、韩会亮、战立国、胡珂瑜等主演。剧中表现抢眼的小演员均为天水当地的小学生。。二十一岁的施瓦兹（SAS Goldberg）在某种程度上想结束了生命中的那种烂透了的生活。她有一个律师助理的工作她不喜欢，对罗斯福岛的一个单调的公寓，和一个霸道的家人从不让她忘记了她还是单身。当她与她的童年好友重聚，芭蕾舞演员比利（Jake Wilson），她给了启发，改变自己的生活的重温她的初恋。。When a casino owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy to prep his retaliation. He also stumbles on to an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins。
