《海边的李尔》故事讲述日本国宝级演员兆吉，在步入高龄、被怀疑患有失智症后遭到长女和弟子遗弃，被迫写下遗嘱并送入老人院。某天，兆吉逃出老人院，独自于海边徘徊，遇见许久未见的小女儿，仿佛看到李尔王最疼爱的小女儿寇蒂莉亚的影子，惊觉自己的遭遇竟与李尔王如此相似……故事以莎士比亚悲剧“李尔王”为基底展开，细腻刻划出兆吉的最后光辉。。故事背景设定在一座看似平凡普通、安详宁静的小镇“咲良田”，这里的半数居民都是拥有超能力并受到约束的“能力者”。女主角春埼美空有着让时间重返3天前的“重启”能力，男主角浅井惠则有着保持记忆不间断的能力，两者在能力上非常互补。他们心怀让2年前过世的朋友相麻堇复活的愿望，接受了各种不同的人的委托，利用“重启”的能力帮人消去“悲伤”，同时他们也为救活朋友而不断奔走。。Davi Martins, a commercial director of a financial institution, and Juliana Martins, a personal trainer, are a couple trying to recover from a crisis.
