In the peace and quiet of their natural surroundings, which provide a refuge from the intense heat of the sun, the women go through the text and dress up in their ruched period costumes, while in easy conversation they share their secrets, and also have little adven...。电影以战后十年日本霞浦面向的农村作为故事发生的舞台。插秧结束后的农村祭典举行期间，村子里的年轻男子们时兴调戏对岸的少女们。田村次男在一次夜袭对岸的过程中看到了农家默默劳作的千代，对她产生了好感。但次男因为捕鱼的事情和千代的母亲发生了争吵。在那之后，次男和仙吉一起扬帆起航，手无寸铁的二人逐渐驶向了边界线之外钓鱼。。
