布兰达夫妇多年来收养了很多孩子，在社区里是出了名的慈善人士，甚至被报刊媒体多次报道。但事实上这对夫妇收养孩子的目的是将他们培养成小偷，为自己敛财。马丽从小失去了父亲，和母亲一起租住在布兰达的房子里。但由于没有钱支付房租，布兰达便要求马丽的母亲为自己打扫房间，并将幼小的马丽收养。 随着年龄的增长，马丽越来越厌恶这种偷偷摸摸的生活。但她的母亲被关押在布兰达家的地下室，一但马丽有任何举动，母亲的生命便会受到威胁。马丽只能在布兰达家委曲求全，寻找逃出虎口的机会。但不幸的马丽不仅没能逃跑，还被布兰达的儿子强奸，生下了一个男孩。 一天深夜，马丽借机带着儿子逃出了布兰达家，她发誓要回来救母亲。马丽找到警察局报案，但警局一听说是布兰达家，都不肯相信马丽所说的是事实。无奈下马丽只得向侦探寻求帮助，并将布兰达家告上了法庭。 布兰达全家被收监，马丽的母亲终于重见天日。但现...。平静的小镇，居住着6个从小一起长大的好朋友，他们分别是火野恭一（武田真治饰）、月影翠（一色紗英饰）、水谷雄司（伊崎充則饰）、木村浩介（山本太郎饰）、金子玲奈（シューベルト綾饰）和土屋稔（須藤公一饰）。他们性格各异，情同手足，过着快乐无忧的高中生活。但是，某天他们以及小镇上波澜不惊的日子却被一个人打破，那就是日高巧美（内田有紀饰）。巧美当年也是6人的玩伴之一，后来随父母搬家离开了小镇。小时候就调皮非常的巧美曾经带着小伙伴们上天入地，惹出了不少麻烦。因此，巧美归来的消息让恭一他们着实惶恐了一阵。他们注定要度过一个不平凡的夏天……。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
