新作OVA动画将由全新的制作阵容负责，声优方面理所当然的保持不变。该作将由TYO Animation制作，监督为《最近、我的妹妹有点怪》的畑博之。脚本将由《现视研》《侵略!乌贼娘》的横手美智子负责，而曾担任多部作品作画监督的谷口元浩将出任角色人设一职。搖曳百合OVA故事讲述的是七森中学里的“茶道社”本是已经废社的空活动室，最近却被4个女生占据了，成为娱乐社消耗时间的地方。时而欢笑时而百合的日常生活就这样开始了。。本系列的最后一季，围绕着最后五人的最后一个成员的揭秘，围绕 Ka ra Thrace 回归的神秘面纱，继续寻找可能终将被舰队发现的地球，以及邪教领袖、 被厌恶的、不受欢迎的（但被赦免的） 、被诟病的前总统 Gaius Baltar。。Tempers flare on deck as the crew hustles to prepare the boat for their first group of charter guests, a larger-than-life group of fun-loving southerners.
