本片翻拍自2015上映的法国电影《非诚勿扰 Un peu, beaucoup, aveuglément (2015)》，讲述既不认识也不知道名字的男女隔着一堵墙展开的左冲右撞的浪漫喜剧故事。。《深蓝》主要讲述洛杉矶警察局卧底小组的故事。这些人「潜藏」得很深，以至于他们的很多同事根本不知道他们在干卧底工作。Carter Shaw是该小组的行动负责人，但他经常和自己的上级闹矛盾－－当然，他这也是为了自己的同事好，因为卧底工作实在太危险了。在第二季中，Carter Shaw将被迫接受FBI探员Alex Rice（Tricia Helfer）的「领导」，与FBI合作调查几起重要案件。Alex的到来，也将使Carter的个人生活发生巨大改变。 卧底小组的其他成员包括：Ty Curtis，工作已经导致他和妻子的感情出现裂痕；Dean Bendis，行事鲁莽，如果他不同意上级的命令，他会毫不犹豫地按照自己的想法去行动；Jaimie Allen，曾经当过巡警，很会掩饰自己的过去，Carter挑选她正是看中了她的这个「特点」。。Norman, a retired police officer, works as a night security guard in a building. One evening, he surprised Nathalie and Guylain committing a robbery and, after a chase in the building, they manage to escape.
