向荣（江熚生饰）自小有阴阳眼，面对着朋友及同辈的排侪，他长大之后选择移居加拿大生活。一日，向荣收到妈妈（白灵饰）自杀不粹的消息，被迫回到香港的旧居，发现大厦内同层的邻居都表现怪异，当中包括太保同谭玉瑛饰演的老夫妇，每到半夜，楼上总会传出怪声，迫使向荣到楼上看过究竟，却发生一连串疑幻疑真的怪事。。An anthology series in which each episode is a self-contained story set in a different world, with all stories linked together by an asteroid called the Metal Hurlant, which is passing close to the planet that is the focus of the current episode.。1916年，阿拉伯大起义爆发。英军中尉Lawrence受命登上阿拉伯半岛之后，决定带领阿拉伯人夺取亚喀巴。在穿越沙漠的过程中，Lawrence力排众议孤身返回搭救了失踪的Gasim。此举赢得了众人的尊敬，Ali ibn el Kharish沙里夫甚至让 Lawrence换上了沙里夫的长袍，而Lawrence也欣然接受。可是阿拉伯部落间并不和睦，Harith部的Gasim杀了Howeitat部的人，双方剑拔弩张。为了平息争端，Lawrence亲手处决了 Gasim，而杀人的快感却让 Lawrence感到不安。成功夺取亚喀巴之后，Lawrence驼不停蹄地穿越西奈半岛回到开罗。Allenby将军大喜过望，升Lawrence 为少校，对其寄予厚望……。
