The pursuit leads him through a world that has become his own natural habitat - a nasty world of crime, drugs, prostitution and male hustlers where "innocence kills" and continued exposure corrupt...。观山寿一（长濑智也饰）是曾经红极一时的摔跤选手，在众多大型比赛中有过非常出色的表现。但随着时间的推移和年岁的增长，体能大不如从前的寿一渐渐在摔跤界里失去了原有的地位，只能够活跃在一些小型比赛之中。在这个节骨眼上，寿一接到了远在老家的父亲病危的消息。 寿一的父亲观山寿三郎（西田敏行饰）是无形文化财产“能乐”的推广人，在全国拥有着超过1万名弟子，寿三郎非常想要寿一继承他的事业，无奈寿三郎个性严厉而又古板，父子两人之间经常爆发激烈的争吵，最终，寿一一怒之下离家出走，并且在之后的20年间都未曾联系过父亲一次。。
