本系列节目用历史小剧场和定格动画的表现形式，再现并解读中国古代人的妆容方式、装束习惯、饮食习惯和出行方式，展示了多姿多彩的古代娱乐生活。片中讲述了人们养猫的历史，介绍了古代文青的雅好，及古代冰鉴、文艺时钟、榫卯结构建筑、数十款全自动机器等科技的发明和应用，充分反映了古代中国人民的智慧，体现中华民族不同朝代的生活方式和精神面貌。。纪录片《嘿，这就是诗经》根据《诗经》文本内容，分为《源流篇》《爱情篇》《修身篇》《农事篇》《战争篇》《礼仪篇》六集，每集30分钟。全片围绕一个主题展开，由4-7个独立小篇章组成，篇章之间既相互独立，又相互关联，结构上“可合可拆”。节目以年轻态、轻松灵秀的方式，诠解《诗经》的前世今生，创新性地普及中华优秀传统文化。。The Roman Empire occupied Britannia (Britain) for four centuries, providing protection and peace in exchange for submission.
