They end up in a bizarre, unfulfilled love a...。阿玲（原田美枝子饰）出生在一个贫困的家庭之中，拮据的生活造就了她好强的性格，她的双亲都不在了，阿玲和奶奶过着相依为命的日子。在阿玲十三岁那一年，奶奶过世了，无依无靠的阿玲沦为孤儿，被半哄半骗的卖到了位于濑户内海一座小岛中的妓院里。 刚开始，因为阿玲年纪太小无法接客，她总是被安排干一些打杂洒扫的工作，虽然阿玲非常的聪明伶俐，手脚又勤快，但她还是常常遭到性格暴躁的老板的打骂。每当感到痛苦至极的时候，阿玲都会来到海边放声歌唱，某一日，她的歌声吸引了一名少年的注意，两个年轻人之间产生了淡淡的情愫。。
