This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。故事发生在具有重要历史意义的年份——1949年。是年，中国共产党以解放全中国为口号，对疲态尽显的国民党进行摧枯拉朽的扫荡。而国民党一方困兽犹斗，露出獠牙做出了疯狂而血腥的反扑。南方要地江都，敌我双方明争暗斗，血光四溅。国民党试图推进“天火”计划，以阻截共军渡江的步伐。看似玩世不恭的公子哥叶声实则是我党的一名地下党员，他手眼通天，甚至和国民党高官都有联系。在此期间，名叫邓凯的神秘男子出现在江都。他既是国民党官员，又是中共地下党员。叶声与特别情报小组组长陈如都对此人防范有加。而邓凯扑朔迷离的身份也关系着战局的走向！。
