Despi...。即将大学毕业的朱波（高峰 饰）利用假期来到周家做家教。平时性格自卑的周芒芒（黄思圣 饰）天性喜爱收集研究昆虫，父亲（吴惠麟 饰）担心此爱好影响学习，一气之下把他收集的昆虫标本全部扔掉，芒芒伤心致极，感到没有人能理解他的内心。睡梦中，他仿佛回到乡下的爷爷（伍园梁 饰）家，那里是一个五彩斑澜的世界。内向的朱波暗恋校园里一白衣女孩，担他始终鼓不起勇气向她表白。朱波在与芒芒接触中常常鼓励他，夸他是最棒的，很少得到别人夸奖的芒芒心生暖意，他认下了朱波这个老师，从此二人心有灵犀，芒芒的自信心逐渐增强。期中考试来临了，班主任老师发现了一个与以前不一样的芒芒......。
